Ramsey Emmanuel Lewis Jr. (born May 27, 1935) is an American jazz composer, pianist and radio personality. Ramsey Lewis has recorded over 80 albums and has received five gold records and three Grammy Awards so far in his career. Ramsey Lewis was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Ramsey Lewis Sr. and Pauline Lewis. He began taking piano lessons at the age of four. Lewis would eventually join a jazz group called the clefs.

Another Voyage is a 1969 album by the Ramsey Lewis Trio. The album peaked at number 34 upon the Top R&B Albums chart the LP serves as a prime example of the muscular Chicago sound while preserving the pianist's trademark elegance". All compositions by Ramsey Lewis except as indicated.

Maiden Voyage (And More). This pop-oriented CD reissue brings back the highlights from pianist Ramsey Lewis' two Argo records Maiden Voyage and Mother Nature's Son. Although Lewis' trio of the time (with bassist Cleveland Eaton and drummer Maurice White ) is heard prominently, they are accompanied by strings, voices (including Minnie Riperton ) and (on the last four numbers) a large orchestra.
