Aoki Takamasa (青木孝允 Aoki Takamasa) (sometimes stylized as AOKI takamasa) (born 1976), is a Japanese electronic musician and producer. Aoki Takamasa was born in Osaka in 1976. He continued to experiment with electronic music, and in 2001 he released his first album Silicom through the independent Japanese label Progressive Form

Kyoto, Japan's Aoki Takamasa carves a straight line through glitch culture's cold tempos and often hostile personalities. Named after Masakazu Tagaki and Takamasa's touring multimedia project, Silicom plays down the severity of intelligent electronic music to give everything a pleasant linear drive

Aoki Takamasa - Silicom.

Here comes Aoki Takamasa's second release, soberly entitled "Silicom Two", a name designating the collaboration between the Tokyo-based musician and the film-maker Takagi Masakatsu. Both artists won the respect of all digital creations enthusiasts thanks to the brilliant quality and innovative aspect of their work. All of Aoki's musical concept is based on the free interpretation of the frequencies and sequences produced by his own software equipment (an equipment he made up himself thanks to the Max/MSP program system).

AOKI takamasa (青木孝允) was born in 1976 in Osaka. He currently resides in Berlin, Germany. Aoki is an energetic artist vigorously expanding the limits of original musical expression.

Named after Masakazu Tagaki and Takamasa's touring multimedia project, Silicom plays down the severity of intelligent electronic music to give everything a pleasant linear drive. Sin" could very well be Boards of Canada with jerking peculiarities, while "Vos" avoids the sonic snobbery of compatriots like Nobukazu Takemura with lucid production bullet-points and an (effectively) unexcited pop edge lurking beneath the traditional hi-tech machine sounds and voice modulation.

Talk about AOKI Takamasa - Silicom

Hulis
Sounds somewhere between Aphex Twin's SAW with a dash of Autechre's early catchy glitch. Definitely some keepers on this album, impressive debut.
