Trini Orville Wright ’74 died on June 21, 2012. He was 68. Originally from Trinidad, Wright studied composition and arranging at Berklee. After graduating he became a Berklee faculty member for 13 years and then served as chair of the Ensemble Department for 15 years. Wright was a renowned pianist and arranger for calypso bands and an active steelpan player who led steelband competitions in Trinidad.
