Patty Loveless released her debut album for MCA Records in 1987. The Trouble With The Truth was released in January 1996 and was the follow up to her CMA album of the year winning When Fallen Angels Fly. Produced by Emory Gordy it was her eighth album and reached number 10 on the country album chart. The first single released from the album was You Can Feel Bad which reached number one. The second single was A Thousand Times A Day which was released in April 1996 and reached number 13. The third single was the chart topping Lonely Too Long which was number one in November 1996.
