Deus Despectum is a black metal band from Paris, Île-de-France that formed in 2003. They released a demo in 2006 and then split up. The vocalist/guitarist of the band also participates in VI and Aosoth.

Deus Despectum is one of the few black metal bands I've heard which is able to combine more misanthropic and dissonant black metal with a more melodic and mournful breed of the genre without losing out on the quality of either. Because of this, every track on 'Nocturno Dementia' is intensely varied in key changes, rhythms, and tempos, but never misses a beat in making the songs cohesive and listenable all the way through.

2 La Légion Des Ténèbres 6:37.

Deus (styled as dEUS) is a rock band based in Antwerp, Belgium, whose only continuous members up to the present day are Tom Barman (vocals, guitars) and Klaas Janzoons (keyboards, violin). The rest of the band's line-up currently consists of drummer Stéphane Misseghers, bassist Alan Gevaert, and guitarist/backing vocalist Bruno De Groote. Formed in 1991, Deus began their career as a covers band, but soon began writing their own material

East Bay Working Class an absolutely incredible album by a band who continue to offer up new music showing growth and progress each and every time, yet somehow they maintain the core sound and feel that we've come to expect from them. The Templars are one of those bands that make me love music and Deus Vult is a must have.
