Produced by Ohio Players. Sweet Sticky Thing Lyrics. You just go from man to man I just don’t seem to understand Why you’re so very hard to take You sweet sticky thing. If I could slow you down sometime I’d like to try and change your mind You’re really not the one to blame You sweet sticky thing. Sweet, sweet sticky thing Sweet, sweet sticky thing Sweet, sweet sticky thing Sweet, sweet sticky thing Sweet, sweet sticky thing Sweet, sweet sticky thing. Every time that you walk by You really leave me paralyzed If you just wouldn't play those games You sweet sticky thing

Honey is the seventh studio album by American band the Ohio Players. Released on August 16, 1975 by Mercury Records. It is generally regarded as a classic, the band's best album, and the last great full-length release of their dominant era in the mid-1970s. Like previous albums by the band, Honey is known for a racy cover photo. In this case image is a nude woman holding a sticky jar of honey in one hand while lasciviously swallowing a spoonful of it with the other

Climax is the sixth album by The Ohio Players and the first of two compiled from tracks left over from previous sessions recorded for the Detroit-based Westbound label. They were signed to Mercury by the time Climax hit stores, and the album features only five new songs (with the other three pulled from previous albums). Their Mercury debut, Skin Tight, was released several months earlier.

The Ohio Players were nearly two decades removed from their biggest hits at the time this concert was recorded. In other words, they were past their peak. That doesn't necessarily mean they were washed up, and there are moments on this ten-track album that are infectiously funky and inspired, but overall the performances feel a little tired and perfunctory. Casual fans will be better suited with a hits collection, while collectors will find this performance to be a bit too undistinguished (and the packaging a little too skimpy) to suit their needs.
