Rabies is the fifth studio album by Skinny Puppy. It was released on November 21, 1989 through Nettwerk. The album spawned two singles, "Tin Omen" and "Worlock", the latter of which becoming one of the band's most recognizable songs. The cover art was made by longtime Skinny Puppy collaborator Steven R. Gilmore

It takes multiple listens to the album to even get to the songs underneath, but once the sonic wall has been punctured it is easy to hear why Ogre is so volatile. His rants, which alternate between a lazy drug moan and a harsh screech, were one of the few in the genre that actually sounded poetic amongst the noise and beats. He can completely carry a noise collage and transform it into a brooding song ("Harsh Stone White") or he can stick to a fairly normal song structure and simply scream his lungs out ("Human Disease (.

I feel like this was a very transitional album for them, at times foreshadowing the noisier elements of Too Dark Park and Last Rights whilst maintaining a lot of the same utter creepiness found on Cleanse, Fold, and Manipulate. It was released on September 12, 1988 through Nettwerk. Despite tackling controversial topics like animal rights, chemical warfare, and environmental waste, VIVIsectVI was well-received. It spawned two singles, "Censor", which was released on the album as "Dogshit", and "Testure", which was Skinny Puppy's only song to chart on Billboard's Dance Club Songs

The title of the album is a pun associating vivisection with Satanism. The album was released in September 1988 by Nettwerk Records and was supported by the VIVIsectVI tour as well as two singles, "Censor" and "Testure". Testure" maintained a steady position on Billboard's Hot Dance Music chart and would go on to be one of the groups most influential and successful singles
