Pierre Vervloesem Plays John Barry (Remastered).

Pierre Vervloesem is a Belgian avant-garde guitar player and producer, and has been described as Belgium's Frank Zappa.

Pierre Vervloesem is a Belgian avant-garde guitar player and producer. After playing in a handful of experimental rock bands in the early 1990s, Vervloesem joined avant-garde band X-Legged Sally at the invitation of Michel Mast. Together Vervloesem and Vermeersch produced the first CD by Antwerp rock group dEUS. But tellingly, the same album also contains a cover of John Barry's composition Ski chase, from the soundtrack of the James Bond film On her Majesty's Secret Service. In 2002, Vervloesem would release an entire album of John Barry covers.

Le Chef-d’œuvre inconnu (English "The Unknown Masterpiece") is a short story by Honoré de Balzac. It was first published in the newspaper L'Artiste with the title "Maître Frenhofer" (English: "Master Frenhofer") in August 1831. It appeared again later in the same year under the title "Catherine Lescault, conte fantastique. It was published in Balzac's Études philosophiques in 1837 and was integrated into the Comédie humaine in 1846.

Pierre Vervloesem 11/11/2008. On Not Even Close, his first solo album since 2005, Pierre Vervloesem plays everything - and everything turns out to be machines, save for a few vocals he and Michèle Vervloesem take care of. The man has often been referred to as "the Belgian Frank Zappa," but he rarely deserved that title as much as on this album

Pierre Vervloesem is a Belgian avant-garde guitar player and producer, and has been described as Belgium's Frank Zappa. During that collaboration, he appeared on the band's albums: Slow-Up (1991), Killed by Charity (1994), Eggs and Ashes (1995), and The Land of the Giant Dwarfs and the live swan song Fired (both 1996)
