Amy Grant is the eponymous debut studio album by then-teenage Christian singer Amy Grant, released in 1977 on Myrrh Records. Three songs from the album made Top Ten Christian radio airplay: "Old Man's Rubble," "Beautiful Music," and "What a Difference You've Made. The latter track was made more famous by country singer Ronnie Milsap, as "What a Difference You've Made in My Life. In contrast to its predecessor, the more acoustic Lead Me On, Heart in Motion consisted of songs that were more heavily processed, as was the style of mainstream music at the time. In addition, unlike Lead Me On, Heart in Motion contained few overtly religious songs, with most of the lyrics for the songs on the album dealing with love or other life issues which would not be the exclusive concern of devout Christians.

Heart in Motion is the 1991 album that broke Amy Grant into the mainstream pop-music charts, yielding five top 20 singles and two No. 1 hits ("Baby Baby" and "Every Heartbeat"). But while the release is filled with upbeat beboppin' singles, it also displays a more serious side and a depth of songwriting ability from Christian music's first lady

Lead Me On is the seventh studio album, and eleventh overall album by Christian music singer-songwriter Amy Grant, released in 1988 through A&M Recordings. Lead Me On was a departure from its predecessor, the high-energy pop album Unguarded. Unlike Unguarded or 1991's Heart in Motion, Lead Me On was not mainstream compatible.
