Heather Nova - South flac album

South is Heather Nova's sixth album. single "Virus of the Mind". There were two versions of this album; the original release on December 11, 2001, and an American release on May 21, 2002. release contained one extra track, "Welcome", which also appeared on the 2005 album Redbird. The album was recorded in London, New York, Sweden and Los Angeles and featured Bernard Butler on some of the tracks.

Storm is Heather Nova's follow-up album to South and her first independent record since departing from the label V2 Records. Nova financed the Storm album herself and released it in a handful of countries. The large United States market was not included. The album itself was a collaboration with the band Mercury Rev.

Heather Nova (1968) grew up in the Bahamas with her hippie parents, later on the American mainland film. South is an album that is pleasant to the ear but also little opzienbarends. The time seems ripe for new challenges. Heather Nova's first poetry book appears in October 2001.

Heather Nova has ventured out on South, delving into the pop side for her own inventions. Fans who aren't accepting of such a move might be critical; new listeners might find South her easiest album.
