BLACKsummers'night is the fourth studio album by American recording artist Maxwell, released July 7, 2009 on Columbia Records. It is the follow-up to his third album Now (2001). Recording sessions for the album took place during 2007 to 2009 and production was handled entirely by Maxwell and Hod David. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 316,000 copies in its first week.
