The New Philharmonia and the Suisse Romande Orchestras play their hearts out and we should feel privileged to have these performances enshrined on compact disc. If you want more conventional readings of these works, listen to the ones of the full scores by Charles Dutoit et l'Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal.
