This album is Fucking insanely brilliant. In my opinion the stand out here is "Timeless". I get a mysterious and unusual feel of nostalgia every time i hear those lush pads and Diane's soothing voice. Timeless got me into DNB, and it is and probably will remain my favourite track of all time, among a couple of others. Goldie mixes his beats with soul and some kind of jazz, and this cd as a whole makes a lot of sense, even when not all tracks are really good. the 1st track is way too long, but "sea of tears" is brillant. a classic album and one of the most interesting in the 90's. But from the first few minutes of Timeless, new listeners might wonder what's so different about jungle and its first superstar. The sweeping synths and lilting female vocals that form the intro to the title-track opener could be taken from any above-average house anthem. All questions are answered, however, once the beat kicks in.
