The session lasted a full 12 hours, from 10am to 10pm, and also saw the completion of the single's b-side Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking For Her Hand In The Snow), which had been recorded two days previously. Lennon added a series of overdubs to the 28 September recording of Cold Turkey made at Trident Studios.
