INXS wasn't quite there yet with Shabooh Shoobah - which, by the way, has to rank as one of the most annoying titles ever conceived - but at more than one point, they reached some total heights. For the most part, however, Shabooh Shoobah is an example of a talented bunch of performers still finding their own identity.
INXS ~ Shabooh Shoobah. In 1982, Australia's INXS knocked the flinty edge off of their hard rock sound, added a dance beat and stepped off the big island and onto the world stage. This is the album where inxs figured themselves out and moved on to become part of the big league. Underneath the colours had come close, but on this album they had the ace on the table. Soul mistake, jans song, one thing, black and white, to look at you and particularly don't change swim with all the elements required to make you want to here them again. This is an all round great album and is the album that moved inxs into view as a band to watch. they pricked up an ear. Give it a go and I fought you'll be disappointed.
