Minogue's second album Enjoy Yourself was released in October 1989. The album was a success in the United Kingdom, Europe, New Zealand, Asia and Australia and spawned number one singles "Hand on Your Heart" and "Tears on My Pillow". However, it failed to sell well throughout North America and Minogue was dropped by her American record label Geffen Records. Sal Cinquemani from Slant Magazine wrote that "Golden further bolsters Minogue's reputation for taking risks-and artfully sets the stage for her inevitable disco comeback. Dave Seaman is a name synonymous with the forefront of electronic music - having devoted almost every weekend over the last 20 years to moving dancefloors from Ibiza to Iceland. Dave has played the world’s most recognised festivals and clubs in more than 80 countries throughout his career.

Dave Seaman’s mix of Bedrock’s ‘Santiago’ is full of melodic twirls and a smooth as silk bassline while Luke Chable sends down some delightful sounds and emotive pads with his stunning mix of Shiloh’s ‘Dream On’. It is then left to Osamu M’s superb remix of ‘Stoppage Time’ to take the mix out in style. As expected the second mix has a little more energy than the first disc thanks to some superb driving productions reminiscent of Seaman's early Masters Series mixes. One good thing I will say about Seaman is that he really always sticks to what he knows best. While some other DJs out there.

GU returns Down Under as Dave Seaman mans the controls. As one of GU’s most prolific DJs (this is his third outing for the City series), the deeper, darker sound explored on 022 was not to the tastes of some fans of his previous discs on the famously unforgiving GU Forum, but equally confirmed his status as one of the most talented, exciting jocks in the world to many others.
