Songwriter – Dogjaw. Recorded in winter of 2011-2012. Hand-screened on fold-out cardboard sleeve.

Slow to Build is primarily a punk rock record. It's a little grainy production wise, but white noise is still noise. It's also ever so slightly adventurous technically. It's not prog rock, but Dogjaw occasionally throw in nice little interludes of dissonance and jamming to shake up all the screaming. While they're not exactly High on Fire, the members in Dogjaw still provide some contrast to all the fast �n' furious bits, balancing out Slow to Build as a whole. Not that the record could ever be called "boring;" music this passionate just keeps going

Like the title says, I'm looking for songs that start off slow and continue to build throughout to an insane crescendo. The best examples I can give would be Dan Deacon-Snookered or Arctic Monkeys-505. I'm about to make a hell of a playlist.

Slow Dazzle is the fifth solo studio album by Welsh musician John Cale, released on 25 March 1975, his second album for record label Island. Mr. Wilson" is about seminal American musician Brian Wilson; the Beach Boys founding member has been a strong influence on Cale's work over the years.
