Quo is the seventh studio album by Status Quo. Issued in May 1974, it features Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan, and reached in the UK. Like its predecessor Hello!, it consisted entirely of songs written or cowritten by the group. The only guest musicians were Bob Young and Tom Parker, who played harmonica and piano respectively on "Break the Rules".

Caroline (Status Quo song). Caroline" is a single released by the British rock band Status Quo in 1973. It was included on the 1973 album Hello! It was the second song Status Quo played at their Live Aid gig in 1985 and it inspired Apollo 440's 1999 single "Stop the Rock". The song was reprised, in 2014, for the band's thirty-first studio album Aquostic (Stripped Bare). It was featured in the ninety-minute launch performance of the album.

Live! is the first live album by British rock band Status Quo. The double album is an amalgam of performances at Glasgow's Apollo Theatre between 27 and 29 October 1976, recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio. The worst album we ever made," said guitarist and singer Francis Rossi. I always thought we were better than that.

Caroline by Status Quo song meaning, lyric interpretation, video and chart position. Caroline" is in the key of F and contains the three chords the band are famous for: I, IV and V. The song was originally a slow shuffle until Rick Parfitt sped up this guitar intro and turned the track into the fiery opener we know today. The song was written by the band's frontman Francis Rossi along with Bob Young, who had various duties with Status Quo, including songwriting. The pair wrote the song two years before they finally recorded it, as the band had a backlog of songs at the time
