Don't Stop is the twenty-second studio album by English rock band Status Quo. The album of cover versions includes guest appearances from Tessa Niles on tracks 6 and 14, The Beach Boys on track 1, Brian May of Queen on track 7 and Maddy Prior of Steeleye Span on track 15. Live! is the first live album by British rock band Status Quo. The double album is an amalgam of performances at Glasgow's Apollo Theatre between 27 and 29 October 1976, recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio. Status Quo starred in their first feature film, Bula Quo!, which was released to cinemas in July 2013. On 11 and 12 July 1986 they played at Queen's Live at Wembley '86 concert. The band also supported Queen at Knebworth and Queen's European shows. The commercially successful In the Army Now album was released in 1986, the single of the same name becoming one of the band's biggest selling UK singles, reaching number 2. The following album, Ain't Complaining, released in 1988, was less successful but did produce the hit single.

Status Quo. Perfil: Two south London fellows called Alan Lancaster (bass) and Francis Rossi (guitar) founded the band "The Spectres" in 1962 (see The Spectres (2)). At that time, Mr. Rossi preferred to call himself Mike after one of his second names. In 1966, the band changed their name to "The Traffic", shortly thereafter to "The Traffic Jam" (see The Traffic Jam (2)). The lineup consisted of Lancaster, Rossi, John Coghlan (drums) and Roy Lynes (keyboard). A year later, the band changed name once again to "The Status Quo"
