When Sunparlour Players released their first album in 2007, they were a trio in a scene full of ten-person bands, and easily filled stages and albums with a full band's worth of sound. Now a duo, Toronto musicians Andrew Penner and Michael "Rosie" Rosenthal continue that fine tradition on their fourth album, The Living Proof. The record starts with the biting garage attack of "Soapbox" and eases into the warm, acoustic-led "For This I Can't Be Sure" and "By Your Side.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, the band consists of songwriter Andrew Penner (musician) on lead vocals, guitar, bass, banjo, bass organ pedals, percussion, and kick drum and Michael "Rosie" Rosenthal on drums, glockenspiel, banjo, backing vocals, keyboards and bass. They come from Ontario  . After Sunparlour Preserves, an EP released in 2012, Sunparlour Players register a new album, The Living Proof, released in April 2014 Contents.

Living Proof is the 24th studio album by American singer Cher. It was first released on November 6, 2001 by WEA and distributed in North America by Warner Bros. On October 18, 2011 they released their latest album Us Little Devils on Outside Music. After Sunparlour Preserves, an EP released in 2012, Sunparlour Players register a new album, The Living Proof, released in April 2014. They start a promotional tour around Canada in spring 2014.
