Nishida Hikaru (西田ひかる) is a Japanese talento, actress, and former idol singer. Nishida Hikaru was born in August 1972 in Japan but lived in Los Angeles from little after birth until age 12. After that, she attended the American School in Japan starting in 1985. In 1988, she made her music debut with the single "Fifteen". During the same year, she started to act in doramas, films, and musicals. In 2002, Nishida married a trading company worker and gave birth to two kids in 2006 and 2009.
