Pendulum - The Reworks flac album

A new Pendulum album entitled Reworks will be released this spring. It launches in a matter of weeks on March 16 and will be the band’s first release in seven years. News is scant for now, and the band aren’t giving away much on their socials, but the official announcement states that Reworks is a project unlike any other released by the band before and that a Complete Works boxset will also be released alongside the album. Pendulum – Reworks also kickstarts a whole new run of live dates. A primary focus since they reunited at Ultra Music Festival in 2016, the band have confirmed Radio 1 stage headline shows for Reading & Leeds this year and their headline show at Printworks on April 14 apparently sold out in an hour. We await more details and will report them as they come in, follow the band on Twitter for the most up to date information.

Announced February 26, 2018 through a press release, The Reworks is the first album by Pendulum since Immersion. It was marketed as a project unlike any other released by the band before. Two weeks prior to the album announcement, Pendulum revealed they would be one of the first to perform at Printworks London, a recently launched music venue in the Great Wen, marking their long-awaited return since closing Ultra Music Festival 2016. It also marked the beginning of a series of shows, ranging from DJ sets in Spain (at Amnesia) to a live show in New Zealand

Some tracks seem to grow on me after a few plays, but I noticed one thing that no one mentioned before: the styles on this album are not only very distinct from the "old" Pendulum sound, they are also very distinct from each other, ranging from really slow to really noisy. Although some people might like this variation, I actually think this makes it a hard to like album for most people, since there will always be tracks that fit one's taste and others that do not, opposed to the usual albums with songs that sort of fit together
