The Young Rascals is the debut album by rock band The Young Rascals. The album was released on March 28, 1966, and rose to on the Billboard Top LPs chart and in Cashbox. Most of the songs on The Young Rascals were covers of songs written or originally performed by other artists, with only "Do You Feel It" authored by the band.

Collections is the second album by rock band The Young Rascals. The album was released on January 9, 1967 and rose to on the Billboard Top LPs chart. Collections was the Rascals' first album to showcase their songwriting talent, with six of the album's songs written by band members.

The album began the Rascals' first forays into the psychedelic genre that they would explore further on Once Upon a Dream. Eight of Groovin's eleven songs were issued by Atlantic Records as single A- or B-sides. The three songs specific to the album are "Find Somebody", "I Don't Love You Anymore", and the Rascals' cover of "A Place in the Sun". The front cover design was conceived (but not illustrated) by the Young Rascals' drummer Dino Danelli. Affixed to the front cover was one of two stickers indicating: "THIS LP HAS THE BIG HIT", followed by either "How Can I Be Sure" (as shown in the cover photo on the right) or "A Girl Like You" as both tracks climbed into the Top 10.

In just a six years period, the band released an incredible body of work. The band’s first album was released in 1966 entitled The Young Rascals. The group went on to release eight more albums ending with their final release in 1972 entitled The Island Of Real. 10 – Lucky Day.
