It's a Miracle is a television show that aired on PAX-TV (now ION Television) between September 6, 1998 and September 1, 2004. Initially hosted by Billy Dean and Nia Peeples and then Richard Thomas, and later by Roma Downey, it explored case studies of people who experienced perceived miracles during their lifetime. The show format could be altered to fit into half-hour or hour-long slots, varying the number of case studies shown in each episode as needed.

The Miracle" is the fifth and final single from Queen's 1989 studio album of the same name. It was composed by the entire band, though Freddie Mercury and John Deacon were the main writers. It was released as a single in late November 1989, some six months after the album. It was the last of the singles from that album to be released, and the first 5th single released from any of Queen's albums from EMI.

It also gives the album it’s name. The album was recorded during guitarist Brian May’s marital issues, and is also the first album produced following frontman Freddie Mercury’s diagnosis confirming he was AIDS positive in 1987. The idea for the song came from Mercury and bassist John Deacon, who wrote the basic chord structure for the song.

Thomas D'Arcy McGee Canadian politician 1825 - 1868 Context: Miracles would cease to be miracles if they were events of everyday occurrence; the very nature of wonders requires that they should be rare; and this is a miraculous and wonderful circumstance, that men at the head of the governments in five separate provinces, and men at the head of the parties opposing them, all agreed at the same time to sink party differences for the good of all, and did not shrink, at the risk of having their motives misunderstood, from associating together for the purpose of bringing about this result.

While it may be a small thing, it is important to push back against the often common assumption that medical advancement is somehow miraculous, and not the result of education and scientific investigation. And it's not a miracle, because there are also relapses. A miracle would be if jesus came flying out of the sky, shot beams out of his eyes into Colin's head and the tumors magically disappeared and never came back. at all. It just means that someone doesn't know or understand.
