Six Brew Bantha is an intense grindcore, powerviolence band from Victoria, . Formed out of the ashes of previous Victoria powerviolence bands, such as Cyborg Justice and Wayne Powerman, Six Brew Bantha has gained much recognition from continual touring and are very active within and dedicated to the DIY ethos. Six Brew Bantha, or Sixbrewbantha, spelled whichever way you want it to be spelled as per the band, have been chruning out righteous, raw grindcore outta Victoria, BC since 2009. The three piece have done multiple splits with other killer bands like Water Torture, Archagathus, and Suffering Mind and also have a self-titled LP to their name that came out in 2012. They've been active and completely nuts so far. The sporadic, bounce and jarring tonal assaults have made them one of the more standout and solid bands in the genre.

Their 2nd LP was released two nights ago (4/20) at a particularly rowdy house show at some dude's house. f k yo. and immediately started one of the most brutal songs to their name, Violence Fuels Hatred. First track Perpetual Debt begins with a faux-poor-recording type intro which made me nervous, seeing as how quality is an important aspect in my opinion, but then laid out a full-out assault with everything crystal clear. The vocals are typical grind vocals. Brutal, throat-shredding, undecipherable and over the top. They fit the music perfectly.
