Delaykliniken is not exactly playing pop music, they are playing with pop music. This is an important nuance to seize the sound universe of this band. I think they’ve found a good deal by joining Progress Productions, which is one of the only leading labels, which dares to innovate by exploring unknown paths.

In 2015 their album Suddenly was released and it’s a fabulously produced album that has more than just synth pop to offer. Delaykliniken offers 10 songs with a playing time of totally 41 minutes (see my post about fillers here) which I think it a perfect format. 41 minutes is almost exactly the time it takes for me to commute (door to door) to the office. I’m locking my front door listening to Soldiers and I’m putting down my bag next to my desk while Suddenly is fading out. Song listing: Soldier.
