Kathleen Yearwood is a Canadian experimental singer-songwriter and author, born in 1958. From Subterranean Records description of Kathleen Yearwood: This powerful and very radical Canadian artist and her music have been described variously as a "folk banshee," "Joan Baez meets Diamanda Galás," and "when angels and demons collide," among many other superlatives, but the descriptions tend to fall flat before the real thing. Moving westward again, she ended up in rural Alberta, in the vicinity of Edmonton, where she assembled a band called Cheval de Guerre in the late 1980s.

Came with lyrics insert.

A note on the title[s]: The title is in proper French "la Fille d'un laboureux". 'laboureux' is arcane French, but a proper word. The American record-label (not the band) mis-spelled 'Filles' and "Laboureaux" both times on the sleeve and on the label, but it appears correctly as "La fille d'un laboureux' on the band-designed lyrics insert. In order to make this release searchable by both spellings, the correct song title is used for the track-listing, while the release title is as [mis]printed on the sleeve.

'Mastered at' GLP means here 'Processed at'. GLP and mastering studio are identified with matrix.
