My favourite album, my 4th favourite album of all time, the outro to Perennial Quest is so special. I love this album! Best of the best - I fully agree. This album sets the bar I use against the rest in realms of proficiently played competent metal music. Everything is just perfect here (songwriting, musicianship, lyrics). I always find something new, different, another dimension/layer even after many listens. It's just simply the best. Death didn't change much over the years, which is a good thing. The added progressive elements here really made the sound that much better.
