Sara Lov self-released her third solo album, Some Kind Of Champion, in summer 2015. I discovered this after reading an interview with Dustin O’Halloran late last year. Dustin collaborated with Sara for two songs on Champion, and he’s contributed keyboards to all Sara’s albums, and collaborated with her on their Dévics project from 1996 through 2006.

In 2015, Sara Lov & Zac Rae finished recording Some Kind of Champion an album of originals by Sara Lov and collaborators Dustin O'Halloran, Hauschka, Scott Leahy, Zac Rae & Jonathan Price. The album was released in late 2015 and was funded by her fans via Pledgemusic. Sara worked with various directors to create videos for 7 songs on the album. Her voice is featured throughout the 4th Season as part of the musical score. Currently, Sara is writing new songs for her.

Sara Lov is a singer and song writer. Lov was born in Hawaii in 1970 and later was raised by her mother in Los Angeles after the divorce of her parents. At the age of four she was kidnapped by her father, who was in the midst of a custody battle, and she was taken to Israel. Sara Lov lived there with an international fugitive from justice until a decade later when an uncle brought about her repatriation to the United States. In 1998 Lov formed the dream pop duo Devics alongside pianist Dustin O'Halloran. Lov's LP I Already Love You was released February 15, 2010 on her own label Splinter Records Discography. 2009 The Young Eyes EP (EP, Nettwerk). 2009 Seasoned Eyes were Beaming (LP, Nettwerk). 2010 All Out of Love (Single, Digital release).
