100 Miles and Runnin' is the 1990 EP that . released through Ruthless Records following the success of their debut album Straight Outta Compton. This project was released after Ice Cube left the group in 1989 after he refused to sign what he felt was an unfavorable contract.

100 Miles and Runnin’ is the only EP by . A, released on August 14, 1990 on Ruthless Records. Prior to recording the EP, all five of the group members had signed a long-term contract with the Ruthless Records label.

However, at the time of 100 Miles, he found himself refiguring a legendary musician who was hesitant to have his music anchoring a song about blowjobs. When it came out in August 1990, the 100 Miles and Runnin’ EP made it to Number 27 on the albums chart and was certified gold within three months, eventually going platinum. But it was just the preamble.

This also came with "100 miles and Runnin" so it was worth the wait. Classic west coast album.
