Baker's Holiday is an album of songs associated with Billie Holiday by trumpeter/vocalist Chet Baker which was recorded in 1965 and released on the Limelight label. Trav'lin' Light" (Trummy Young, Jimmy Mundy, Johnny Mercer) – 3:10. Easy Living" (Ralph Rainger, Leo Robin) – 3:21.

Baker's Holiday finds Chet Baker effectively paying tribute to Billie Holiday with mellow trumpet solos and occasional vocals. Baker is backed by a full sax section and a four-piece rhythm section that includes pianist Hank Jones; Jimmy Mundy contributed the colorful arrangements. His performance of ten songs associated with Lady Day (most of which he had not recorded previously) is often exquisite.

Chet Baker pays tribute to one of his idols, Billie Holiday, on this 1965 session, recorded with a nine-piece orchestra. Although best known for his trumpet prowess, Baker sticks to the flügelhorn on this collection of songs sung by Holiday, some never previously recorded by Baker. She had a way of combining singing and talking a tune that was very intimate. One thing I really liked about her was that she never raised her voice. At least, I never heard her shout. The way of singing really reflected a lot of soul. Billie Holiday was Billie Holiday: that's all. She was great.

Chesney Henry "Chet" Baker, Jr. (December 23, 1929 – May 13, 1988) was an American jazz trumpeter, flugelhornist and singer.

1965’s Baker’s Holiday finds the jazz legend Chet Baker paying homage to the music of Billie Holiday on flugelhorn and vocals with first-rate accompaniment from Everett Barksdale (guitar), Richard Davis (bass), Hank Jones (piano), Connie Kay (drums) and an astute reed section. With elegant arrangements by Jimmy Mundy and a bygone big band feel, the 10-song set includes potent tributes to Lady Day fare like Easy Living, Mean To Me and These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You) among others.
