An obscure album, I was first drawn to this by its distinctive Dan Seagrave cover art, a rare work that he himself doesn't seem to acknowledge, likely because he forgot this album ever existed like many of us have. But is there a fair reason for this? Does After the Dream suck eggs? Of course not, but it can be somewhat of a difficult album to appreciate fully

Hydra Vein was formed in the spring of 1987 featuring ex-Deathwish members, brothers Damon and Nathan Maddison and was hailed as the UK's answer to Slayer!
