Willie Nelson's official music video for 'On The Road Again'. And I can't wait to get on the road again.

About On The Road Again. Willie Nelson starred as an aging rocker in the film Honeysuckle Rose. While on an airplane flight, he was asked to write a song about ‘being on the road’ for the film by director Jerry Schatzberg and executive producer Sydney Pollack, so he grabbed a barf bag and proceeded to write On The Road Again on it. The song topped the US Country Chart and crossed over to pop, peaking at in late 1980. The song won a Grammy the following year for Best Country Song. On The Road Again" Track Info. Written By Willie Nelson.

On the Road Again" is a song written and made famous by country music singer Willie Nelson. The song, about life on tour, came about when the executive producer of the film Honeysuckle Rose approached Nelson about writing the song for the film's soundtrack. On the Road Again" became Nelson's 9th Country & Western No. 1 hit overall (6th as a solo recording act) in November 1980, and became one of Nelson's most recognizable tunes

On The Road Again is a collection of songs inspired from Katchafire’s life on tour, their many travels and many experiences. Katchafire’s unique sound is embraced the world over and has always reflected their strong cultural identity.

That whole artistic mystique is one of the great traps of this business, because down that road lies unintelligibility. Dylan has a lot to answer for there, because after a while he discovered that he could get away with anything-he was Bob Dylan and people would take whatever he wrote on faith. In recent years, Dylan in live performances has taken to singing the first verse again at the end of the song. As Gray notes in his Bob Dylan Encyclopedia: "Dylan chooses to end in a way that at once reduces the song's apocalyptic impact and cranks up its emphasis on the artist's own centrality.

I walk a lonely road The only one that I have ever known Don't know where it goes But it's only me, and I walk alone. I walk this empty street On the boulevard of broken dreams Where the city sleeps And I'm the only one, and I walk alone. I walk alone, I walk alone I walk alone and I walk a. My shadow's the only one that walks beside me My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me Till then I walk alone.
