Some of the tracks on this 77-minute album are indeed rough.

Notes

Subtitle: Being a retrospective look at a dubious career in storytelling and singing off-key.

This is a compilation of rare live recordings, demos and bootlegs. Many of the bootleg recordings were submitted by fans and Ron Davis spent weeks going through them. A couple of the tracks are not very good quality at all, but are the only recordings in existence of these songs. To this end, there is a (humourous) warning label on the back cover that reads:

"ACHTUNG! READ THIS FIRST - Though every attempt has been made to make this record sound super professional, it’s still a BOOTLEG record. You’ve been warned. Vomiting and/or nausea may ensue if listened to without reading the liner notes."

The booklet includes thoughts and notes from Andrew Peterson on a selection of the songs included on the album. As far as extra artist credits go, they are not listed exactly and had to be gleaned from reading Andrew's thoughts on the song. For example 'that's Andrew Osenga doing the vocal harmonies there.' The credits therefore are by no means extensive, probably because Peterson himself cannot remember exactly who was playing at each of his concerts. The credits listed below then are only the ones that are definately mentioned in the booklet. 'Featuring' has been used where the artist is credited, but the role is unspecified.

The track list on the back tray lists 'Jamie Lyn' as track 12. However, this was missed on the final master and is not included on the album. By way of apology, Andrew Peterson has made the song available on his website as a free 192kbps download to reinsert for use on iPods or other mp3 players.
