Baroness started recording their first full-length album in March 2007. Phillip Cope from Kylesa continued to produce Baroness on this album. The Red Album was released on September 4, 2007. and met positive reception.

Summary: The fifth full-length release for the hard rock/metal band is the first with new guitarist Gina Gleason (Peter Adams left the band in 2017).
