Black Ivory is an R&B group from Harlem, which had a number of hits in the 1970s, including "Don't Turn Around", "You and I" (which featured Larry Blackmon from Cameo on drums), "I'll Find a Way (The Loneliest Man in Town)", "Spinning Around", "What Goes Around (Comes Around)", "Will We Ever Come Together", and "Mainline. The group features songwriter and prolific disco producer Leroy Burgess, Stuart Bascombe, and Russell Patterson.

There are several pressings of this release. The original pressing contains the correct side 1 duration time of 6:53, and two with misprinted labels with the side 1 duration time 5:25. Both 5:25 misprinted label pressings actually contain the original 6:53 recording.

This release contains the misprinted side 1 label with 5:25 however the correct duration time 6:53 is shown in track list.

Housed inside Buddah's For Your Disco Pleasure The Big Single die-cut sleeve. Promotional copies issued with cut corner and "DJ Copy Loaned for Promotion Only Not For Sale Arista" round custom sticker on sleeve.
