All of the chapters converge toward the idea of unifying consciousness. pg 5. The dual consciousness Weil is talking about is the active mind, represented in ancient alchemy by the sun, and the subconscious mind, represented by the moon. Within each of us, both minds operate more or less in balance. Though many of his studies involve the conscious use of drugs to achieve that balance, Weil promotes natural methods above all else. He is the author of many scientific and popular articles and of 14 books: The Natural Mind, The Marriage of the Sun and Moon From Chocolate to Morphine (with Winifred Rosen) Health and Healing, Natural Health, Natural Medicine; and the international bestsellers, Spontaneous Healing and 8 Weeks to Optimum Health, Eating Well for Optimum Health: The Essential Guide to Food, Diet, and Nutrition.

This is one of the most amazing short bedtime stories to read for kids, "Tale Of The Sun And The Moon". Watch the house well. I will bring some delicious pancakes and rice cakes, said the mother. The brother and the sister thought of the rice cakes and waited for their mother. It became dark in the mountain. The mother was hurrying home worried about the children. But a dark shadow appeared. It was a scary tiger. The tiger said, I won’t eat you up if you give me rice cake. The mother gave the tiger a rice cake and it went in the jungle.
The bandmembers spend a significant chunk of the album trying to be as serious and earnest as they were stylish and giddy on The Bravery. On "Time Won't Let Me Go," they adopt a more mainstream rock sound, ditch the synths, and even name-drop Bryan Adams' "Summer of '69" in the lyrics; "The Ocean" delivers strings, acoustic guitars, and all the other trappings of a formerly fun band getting too serious for its own good
