Audrey Ryan 's debut CD, Passing Thru, is a good indicator of the many talents possessed by this creative and interesting singer/songwriter from the Boston area. This album, recorded at Neighborhoods singer David Minehan 's studio, Wooly Mammoth, between March and June 2004, is chock-full of strong material performed well. The problem is that the vibrant live show, as well as the energy found on their raw demos, did not translate well on this production by the singer and her engineer, Dave Wesner.
