Live Evil is the first official live album by British heavy metal band Black Sabbath. The previously released Live at Last (1980) was not sanctioned by the band. Live Evil peaked at number 37 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. In early 1982 Black Sabbath's publishing deal with their previous management expired. By re-recording several songs from their earlier catalog and releasing them as a live album, all the songwriters stood to see a hefty profit from the publishing royalties.

Lady Evil, evil She's a magical, mystical woman Lady Evil, evil on my mind She's queen of the night. So if you ever get to Witches' Valley Don't dream or close your eyes And never trust your shadow in the dark 'Cause there's a lady I know who takes your vision And turns it all around The things you see are what to be, lost and never found. Lady Evil, evil She's a magical, mystical woman Lady Evil, evil on my mind She's queen of the night. Lady Evil" lyrics provided for educational purposes and personal use only.

Lady Evil" is the third track on the Black Sabbath album Heaven and Hell. It is written by Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler. This song, like others on the album, reflects Dio's poetic turn with the lyrics, which were such a sharp departure from the Ozzy Osbourne-era Black Sabbath. As Tony Iommi mentions in the book Precious Metal: Decibel Presents the Stories Behind 25 Extreme Metal Masterpieces, "None of those songs would have worked with Ozzy.

Black Sabbath is the debut studio album by the English rock band Black Sabbath. Released on 13 February 1970 in the United Kingdom and on 1 June 1970 in the United States, the album reached number eight on the UK Albums Charts and number 23 on the Billboard charts. Black Sabbath is widely considered the first heavy metal album. Additionally, the opening track of the album-Black Sabbath-is widely considered to be the first doom metal song.
