For her third album, 2006's Impeach My Bush, Peaches enlisted guest musicians Joan Jett, Greg Kurstin, Josh Homme, Samantha Maloney, Beth Ditto, Feist, Dave Catching, Brian O'Connor and Radio Sloan to perform on several of the tracks. The Herms (short for hermaphrodites) were formed in spring 2006 as Peaches' live backing band.

Impeach My Bush is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer Peaches, released on July 7, 2006 by XL Recordings. The album includes guest appearances by Joan Jett, Beth Ditto, Josh Homme, Samantha Maloney, Mocky and her one-time roommate Feist. Early sessions of Impeach My Bush were recorded at Peaches' Berlin studio with Eagles of Death Metal singer Jesse "The Devil" Hughes

Fret not, fans of filth, who worry Impeach My Bush will see saucy Canadian electro-punk Merrill Nisker shelving the politics of the bedroom and embracing political activism-a quick spin of self-explanatory tracks like "Two Guys (For Every Girl)" should quickly confirm the third Peaches full-length is just as foul-mouthed, depraved, and all-round sluttish as its predecessors. Further good news, however, comes with the realisation this is by some length the best Peaches album to date. I've been into Peaches since her first album, which included some great tracks. Her earlier work tended to be a bit more hit or miss when it came to the music. It seemed like she was still finding her sound.

Talk about Peaches - Impeach My Bush

While it may be fashionable these days to diss everything vaguely reminiscent of electroclash, "Impeach My Bush" is a better album than her last, and she neatly splits the album between Berliner beats and the rock stuff. I prefer the former, like on tracks "Slippery Dick", "Tent In Your Pants", and "Stick It To The Pimp". Let's not forget that this is one the FEW artists to stick their neck out in a political vein, OK? And if you're not into pornocore, why listen?

WTF? OMG? LOL? Don´t believe the hype. Nothing fresh, no excitement, nothing new to add. This is retroclash like it sounded 4 years ago. Why bother when there are so many good artists on the field. Peaches has contributed with to good tracks - Fuck the pain and Stuff me up. There´s not a single track on this album that I would like to have for free. People who dig this must either be totally addicted to clash or buying what they write about in ***insert name on random fashion victim fanzine here*** Pfff
