Job For a Cowboy made quite a splash with their demo alone and promised to become a quite powerful band in today's metal scene. While they do lack creativity to a degree (how many other bands are playing death metal grind and metalcore at once these days") they do what they do exceptionally well. Think Red Chord, similar sound and perfromed at a similar level. This is a band that I feel death metal elitists to tough guys to scenesters can appreciate. Each song is filled with top notch riffage

Band Name Job For A Cowboy. Type EP. Released date 09 November 2005. One thing that started out cool, but ending up annoying the hell out of me, was the amount of bass booms that this album uses. Don't get me wrong, bass booms kick ass when used at the beginning of breakdowns and not too much. But this album has one at least 10 times during each song, and it gets very annoying after a while. The drumming isn't that bad actually, and is probably the best thing I'd have to say about this album
