Kim Fowley (born 27 July 1939) is a male American record producer, impresario, songwriter and sometime recording artist. The son of Hollywood character actor Douglas Fowley ( Singin' In The Rain ), Kim's scattergun career in the music industry has been as varied and eccentric as it has been long. He has generally remained on the fringes of the mainstream industry, free to immerse himself in obscure and offbeat projects while occasionally stumbling on (and then happily milking) commercial success. Biography by Jason Ankeny. One of rock's most infamous impresarios and managers, most notably for the '70s proto-punk band the Runaways. Visions of the Future.

Kim Vincent Fowley (July 21, 1939 – January 15, 2015) was an American record producer, singer, songwriter and musician. He is best known for his role behind a string of novelty and cult pop rock singles in the 1960s, and for managing the Runaways in the 1970s. He has been described as "one of the most colorful characters in the annals of rock & roll," as well as "a shadowy cult figure well outside the margins of the mainstream.

His producer fame destroyed the chances to be considered as the artist he was. but time gives the right answers and now is clear that records like outrageous, son of frankestain, animal god, living in the streets, are full of music better than what you can find in the works of a lot of very much more famous fowley's collegues.

Album Future Visions. Future Visions Lyrics. I can't see a vision of the future And nor will I shirk it off like those plastic people do So go and bury your head in a plastic orange grove And tell me all you're findings, If there's any to be found. When I think of future All I want to see is you All I want to see is you 'cause I know nothing else will do I dig up all my features, and I lay them out in front of me 'Cause I know you are all I see (yeah you're all I see)

On the album of the set, Live Peace in Toronto, Fowley's voice is heard introducing the band. In 1975, Fowley helped form the Runaways, with whom he worked until 1977 when the group severed ties, due in large part to his rough work methods, mistreatment and verbal assaults.

JPL Visions of the Future Posters. A creative team of visual strategists at JPL, known as "The Studio," created the poster series, which is titled "Visions of the Future. Lois Kim, typography: We worked hard to get the typography right, since that was a very distinctive element in creating the character of those old posters. We wanted to create a retro-future feel, so we didn't adhere exactly to the period styles, but they definitely informed the design. The Venus poster has a very curvy, flowy font, for example, to evoke a sense of the clouds.
