Performer: Jean Doyen. Composer: Gabriel Faure. Certainly, this is a collection album. The poetry that emanates from Doyen may be noticed since the first bar. Doyen is in direct line with Faure through Marguerite Long. If you think it over, among the famous Group of the Six, Faure has been the most played of them, and additionally his piano music has had good interpreters, such as Emma Boynet, Robert Casadesus, Jean Philippe Godard, Marguerite Long, Artur Rubinstein and Bruno Canino, and this evidence talks by itself. A collector album inch by inch. I really hope for its re-release for the sake of many listeners.
