Swedish-born and London-based producer/DJ Eric Prydz has more aliases than all Wu-Tang Clan members combined. Since 2001, he's gone by Pryda, Moo, Sheridan, Groove System, Dirty Funker, Cirez D, Axer, Dukes of Sluca, Hardform, and A & P Project. With his long-awaited (and long-overdue) debut album, Eric Prydz Presents Pryda, he opens with Shadows. It's a club-tailored jam dappled with Alan Parsons Project samples and confectionary keyboard tones.

Eric Sheridan Prydz (/prɪdz/, Swedish pronunciation: ; born 19 July 1976), also known by his aliases Pryda (/ˈpraɪdə/) and Cirez D (/ˈsaɪrɛz/) (among a number of others), is a Swedish DJ, record producer, and musician. He rose to fame with his 2004 hit single "Call on Me", and saw continued chart success with "Proper Education" in 2007, and "Pjanoo" in 2008. In 2016, he released his debut studio album, Opus.

The one-disc version of Pryda is the right combination of familiar and surprising, but that three-disc version is just too enticing to ignore, and if your pocket is deep enough, so are the vibes. Track Listing - Disc 1. Title/Composer.

This release holds up ridiculously well, thanks to Eric's ability to blend genres into his own concoction (see other review below) and his knack for melody. The whole package is excellent, but Disc 3 is the shining jewel here for me -- one of the best techno/prog house/etc. mixes I've heard, hands down. The End/RYMD/Waves is a killer opening salvo alone. If you're into any of the styles mentioned here, this deserves to be in your collection.
