For the album, Welch contributed the majority of the instruments, but also hired other contributors, including rhythm guitarist Archie J. Muise J. bassist Tony Levin, and drummer Josh Freese, for assistance. Although not groundbreaking, 2000's Into the Light is a decent solo effort that should please those who admire his '70s and '80s output.
