Buddy's Song is the debut album by English singer and actor Chesney Hawkes, released in 1991. It is the soundtrack to the film of the same name and includes the UK number one single "The One and Only". In the United States, the album was released as The One and Only. Every song on the British release of the album was used in the film except "A Crazy World like This". It was to be Hawkes' only album to make the Top 40, peaking at number 18 in the UK Albums Chart.

Chesney Lee Hawkes (born 22 September 1971), is an English pop singer, songwriter, and occasional actor. He is best known for one single "The One and Only", which topped the UK Singles Chart, and reached the Top 10 in the United States. Hawkes's career began at 19, when he appeared as the title character in the film Buddy's Song. In March 1991, he released his biggest single "The One and Only" from the film's soundtrack, on which his younger brother, Jodie, was the drummer.
