Australian bluegrass singer Kristy Cox was honoured last month during the Country Music Awards of Australia with the trophy for Bluegrass Recording of the Year for 2019. She won for the song Ricochet from her album with the same name. The award tops off what was a huge 2018 for Kristy which saw her receive a Billboard album, 2 singles in both the USA and Australia and a Grammy Award shortlist.
