In 1969, Pink Floyd made a soundtrack album to a French movie, More, by Iranian director Barbet Schroeder (who later came to New York and directed the original version of Single White Female). More is based on the diary of a friend of Schroeder, and the story is heartbreaking. I saw Pink Floyd perform Cymbeline, a song off this album, to a crowd of about 65 people (no one in the USA knew who Pink Floyd were at that time) at the Eastown Theater in Detroit in 1971, and Roger Waters introduced the song. It was their first tour with their quadrophonic PA setup and WEM amps. It's got some amazing bluesy/jazzy vocals, and some songs that won't get out of your head.
