The Ballad of Todd Rundgren is the second album by American sician Todd Rundgren, released in 1971. Most of the album's 12 tracks are piano-led ballads, with the only exceptions being the rock tunes "Bleeding" and "Parole" and the anthem "Chain Letter". Rundgren himself wrote, arranged, and produced every tune on The Ballad of Todd Rundgren, as well as handling all the guitars, keyboards, and vocals.

Notes

This is the mispressed second pressing, with extra songs and alternate versions/mixes. The cover and printed inner sleeve are the same as the standard edition. The labels do not indicate the extra songs.

This version has 2 completely different tracks and, not only that, but many of the tracks are alternate mixes with slight differences from the standard version. Upon its initial release, the album was issued with 10 tracks. After the success of We Got To Get You A Woman, Ampex decided to press more LPs to keep up with demand. A rejected 12 track master was accidentally sent to the pressing plant which resulted in around 5000 mispressed LPs being released to the public.
