Love And Theft" (generally referred to as Love and Theft) is the 31st studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on September 11, 2001, by Columbia Records. It featured backing by his touring band of the time, with keyboardist Augie Meyers added for the sessions. It peaked at on the Billboard 200, and has been certified Gold by the RIAA.

Love and Theft (Love and Theft album). Love and Theft is the second studio album by Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles in the American country music duo Love and Theft. It was released on July 24, 2012 via RCA Nashville. The album includes the number 1 single "Angel Eyes. The album's second single, "Runnin' Out of Air," was released to country radio in November 2012. The album's third single, "If You Ever Get Lonely", was released to country radio on June 3, 2013.

Love and Theft" is old and it's brand-new at the same time. It's old in the sense that it melds folk, jazz, blues, rock and bluegrass, but it mixes those genres in entirely new and fascinating ways. But a Bob Dylan song is a genre of its own. Some songs on this album count among his best ever, although none would be as magical without his unmistakeable voice, which with each record sounds more and more like Tom Waits, Louis Armstrong, or other smoky, raspy crooners. Once you experience what Bob Dylan has been doing in recent years, it is difficult to return to his old classics in their original form.

Time Out of Mind was a legitimate comeback, Bob Dylan's first collection of original songs in nearly ten years and a risky rumination on mortality, but its sequel, Love and Theft, is his true return to form, not just his best album since Blood on the Tracks, but the loosest, funniest, warmest record he's made since The Basement Tapes. There are none of the foreboding, apocalyptic warnings that permeated Time Out of Mind and even underpinned "Things Have Changed," his Oscar-winning theme to Curtis Hanson's 2000 film Wonder Boys.

Love and Theft climaxes a remarkable decade of work from Dylan - the decade when he hit the road for his Never-Ending Tour and finally ditched the halfhearted attempts at slickness that muffled most of his Eighties studio records. Sometime in the Nineties, Dylan finally blew out his voice - and this was a good thing. Because after those last few creaky floorboards gave way, the man came up with a whole new songwriting style for the voice he was left with, the sinister rusted-muffler growl he introduced on Time Out of Mind
